Born into a family devoted to pharmaceuticals, Shivani grew up surrounded by conversations about molecules & medicines. Innovation fascinated her early on, which is why she chose biotechnology as a career.
Her first major milestone came when she secured a patent for her father’s company, a formulation for anemia that she later launched in the market. It was celebrated as a scientific win, yet for her, it became something else entirely: a revelation. She saw, up close, how little women knew about their health conditions…and how poorly the market served them.
She somehow realised, women’s health wasn’t failing because of a lack of solutions, but because women’s health is treated as an afterthought. Women across India and the world are given “copy-paste” products, and negligible sensitivity to the biology that made them distinct. That’s when she found her calling and set out on her mission.
